Have you been trapped under the mat of your past, unable to walk in freedom? Do the pleasures of this world leave you crippled, needy, broken and shattered? Today, as we reflect on John 5:1-15, Jesus is asking us the same question that He asked the man by the pool of Bethesda – “Do you want to be Healed?” He wants to touch and heal us not just from our physical ailments; but rather bring wholeness – body, mind, soul and spirit. The greatest consolation is that even though we may be blind, deaf, crippled; we are not outside the reach of God. We are in Bethesda, the house of mercy where God is waiting to heal us. Come, Listen and Live an Abundant Life in Jesus Christ. Not tomorrow, not later – today. Behold Today is the day of salvation.
