As Catholics, one of the devotions that takes precedence, more importantly during this season of Lent, is the Way of the Cross. For many, the graphical representation of Christ’ passion tends to stir an array of emotions within us due to which our minds and hearts are often clouded with pity or sadness because of what our eyes are seeing. Yet, the cross my dear friends is so much more than the visual of a good man punished unjustly. May the passion of Christ convict us of this God who became human to heal our humanity; was broken to make us whole; experienced suffering to give voice and meaning to our own suffering.
