The Cross is not foreign to any of us. Yet, in order to understand the horror of the cross, we first need to understand that God is holy and that He cannot tolerate sin. The Cross – once known as a symbol of sin and shame; through the Great exchange of Christ’ life for our sake, is transformed into a symbol of hope. This video expounds on the cross through Catholic teachings including the famed expression by St. Paul narrating the incomprehensible power through the breadth, length and depth of the cross. In this final week of our Lenten journey, through the cross of Christ, may we hold on to the hope that the end of our story is not death, rather it is life, triumph, victory and freedom because Jesus is risen from the dead.
