As inhabitants of a media-frenzy world, constantly seeking the validity of the spotlight, very often we assume God’s acceptance of us too only when there has been considerable recognition of our efforts. If you relate and feel trapped in a spotlight-seeking tunnel, I would like to bring to you the words of St. Paul – “For once you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Live as children of light” (Ephesians 5:8). The Light of Christ shines in the most unlikely places and to the most unlikely of people… and that includes you. Receive His Light and then go forth to shine your light to all around you.
